I have just released version 1.1 of my wordpress theme. It has some improvements that are mainly a result of comments on the support pages.  You can download version 1.1 from here.

Wordpress Theme - Description

This is my first free wordpress theme. The sliding images above are links to different parts of your wordpress blog - you can link them to any post or a category.  You can see it live on a real site here: My Dubbo Tourism Site with customised images and links. Enjoy!

How to Install

To get it going, you need to upload the theme into your wordpress theme folder, then select the theme from within wordpress.

Then you need to customise the images and links for your own website as follows:

IMAGES

Change the images to ones of your own. I have included the original photo shop files so you can edit the text on the images and the background pictures to suit your own website. You need to upload the finished pictures to:
themes/slidingdoor/imagemenu/images

IMAGE URL’s

You need to insert the URL’s for the menu up the top of your webpage. The menu is set up in a file called “header.php” Line 47 contains this URL: http://slidingdoor.dubbo.org. Line 48 contains the link for the second image and so on. You need to insert your own URL’s there.

SITE HEADING

Finally, the site heading is also an image and needs to be uploaded to:
themes/slidingdoor/img/welcome.png
