Your theme has just the “artsy” ,unusual, attraction that an art blog needs. So many boring ones out there. One question; Under your para “Images” you say, “Then save the images as compressed as you can”. I am a little familiar with photoshop but I have never compressed a photo. Reduced yes, compressed no. Please help.

hi Wayne, my brother-in-law has decided to join the 21st century and get a web site up and running. Since my forte is internet marketing (NOT web design or dev) I needed a template and he was really hoping for something ‘that moved’ lol. I searched hi & low for hours until finding yours. It’s stunning! and I know Dave is gonna love it – not only does it move but it SLIDES – just like the automatic doors he services. Haha.The site is now up and running and I’m here to try and figure out how to change the pics, plus a few other assorted tweaks. Have a cuppa java on me Wayne, with much appreciation for making even the least *technical* webber look good!

I setup Worpress and installed the sliding door theme in about 16 hours. This is pretty remarkable since I have never even visited a blog site, much less set one up. It was a little tricky getting the text to appear uniformly on the images as I am using freeware paint programs. The only real issue I had with sliding doors was understanding how to use it with the permalinks. It only likes the default. Pretty permalinks caused nasty things to happen with the comments so I don’t recommend using them. Otherwise, no real issues. Thanks for a great theme! You are making us look good.

This looks like a great theme. I’m new to site building and blogging but want to put together a site that will work well for a real estate company. Any thoughts as to how to custimize this theme for that purpose would be appreciated
Nicely done image handling. I’ve loaded it on my site; just need to create one more image. I may change it back to white background with black text, which I usually prefer, but I’ll live with the white on black for at least a while.

I can’t remember if there are default widgets, you might need to go in and manually activate some widgets.
