Add a Page without showing up on home page lists

Postby rvdocs » Fri Nov 25, 2011 7:23 pm

I will have "stories" on my front page that jump, or continue...onto another page for the rest of the story. TWO QUESTIONS: How do I add pages that text can jump to, but do NOT show up on the home page?

And, is it possible to change the background of those pages, without affecting ALL pages? I want the text on "jump pages" to be on white or light gray backgrounds.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

OK, I got the pages not to show up in lists, however, when you go to it, it reads "PRIVATE" in the title. How do I get rid of "PRIVATE"?

Thanks to whomever can answer.

Get a plug in called "Exclude Pages From Navigation" Works Beautifully. It adds a checkbox on the page's Edit screen that lets you exclude it. I love this plug-in. I use it on several sites with different themes.
