How do you remove where it says 'categories' and where it says 'Uncategorized' located on the right hand side of all of my pages?

I really appreciate the feedback from anyone who can help!

Here's my site: www.GotItalianIce.com

gqjordy,

It looks like you resolved your category problem. How did you do it? Also, I need to remove unused categories from my categories list, does anyone know how to do that?

Thanks,
chevrock

Your site looks great.

To everyone.

If you like your sliding door theme don't forget to send a few dollars Wayne's way. We used to have to pay big bucks for this stuff,

I found a solution that works for me. I didn't want any side bar stuff...search, meta, or categories. I went into the editor sidebar.php and commented it out right at the top of the page. Now I am using a one column, no sidebar post template.

I'm having the same problem with my site www.artsciencegallery.com

What specific lines of code need to be commented out to get rid of the right-hand secondary widget area (says categories/uncategorized). I don't have anything at all in my secondary widget area, so I'm not sure why that's showing up at all.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey there... This is actually funky so be ready to follow a bit of instruction. We all have a primary and secondary Sidebar by default.

You can go into the Sidebar.Ph via Apperance -> Editor

Look for this

All of the information between the Primary Sidebar and press ctrl + X.

Save it.

Test it.

If it didnt work. Paste it back in and comment here again
