I LOVE your theme - Sliding Door! It is just what I visualized only the black is cooler than I imagined. I have a very basic site now and need to change it so I can add simple things like a 'Subscribe by Email' button and 'Twitter Follow' and 'Twitter' stream. The problem is that I can't even figure out how to upload this great theme. HELP! I've got a big event next Tue Dec 15 and need to make revisions immediately.

I'm confused. I help friend to make Webpage for his dogs and I'm considering your nice Slidingdoors theme. Website had already 10 pages before I choosed Slidingdoors as theme. They are all "pages", not "blog posts". Site is using Wordpress as CRM, but its not going to be normal blog, only hobby dog breeders website with some additional bloging features maybe.

Am I supposed to add links for Slidingdoors from WP-Admin interface, Links section (fourth down from up, after Desktop, Posts and Media)? Should I use some special section? Default is "Blogroll".

Great themes. I'm afraid that I cannot use the PP theme as it is too tall for my poor wee netbook. So, I'll use the Sliding Doors theme instead.

I have been using WordPress since version 1.3 or thereabouts. I have been using pages since day one. Got plenty of pages. However, when SD is installed, it reads only the first four pages for the menu. How can I get this situation rectified?

What happens when the sliding titles simply don't change? The WordPress pages have been entered ( They link up fine down the left side. I also got the photos up (though they need a little work). But the 7 titles are not changing. I'm an artist, not a programmer and I have no idea what points to what in the php or html. Should I reinstall? Am I forgetting something? Do I need to do a work-around? Help!

Great theme -
There are more pages which are not showing or linking in the 7th menu item. e.g. This occurs even when i disable other pages and it should be showing. Also any additional pages creted do not show up.

I have worked out the problem:
Each page has a numbered id (e.g. page_id=128)
The slider places the link for the first seven pages in the order of that id from lowest to highest.
If one of these pages is marked not to display or a child page it will leave it out.
The problem it that the next available visible page is not included.
I redid the seven pages I wanted in the menu to be the first seven numbers.

It would be nice if it used the page order function and also change the number of items in the menu.
Thanks again for a great theme.

Sorry Wayne. I typed it wrong. Http:// The titles and links appear fine on WordPress but the links are not being recognized by Sliding Doors. I'm guessing the code is looking for names that are not being found? What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

<?php slider_menuparse(wp_list_pages('sort_column=ID&depth=1&number=7&title_li=&echo=0')); ?>

Hey there Wayne. First, thanks for such a cool theme (sliding doors.) I had a similar problem with getting pages to line up with the sliders. As others have mentioned, suddenly, my 7th slider has no text or page linked to it at all. You can view my site here:

If you notice, there are more than 7 pages along the side. I have numbered the pages in the order I want, and they appear in that order in teh page list in the left sidebar, but, as you will see, not all of the parent pages line up with the sliders. I tried the fix you mentioned, but the line of code in my theme header.php is the same as the fix mentioned above.

What next?

Thanks much.

Hi, I hope this hasn't been asked before, but I've been searching the forum all day and I can't find anything. I'm accessing Wordpress via my Yahoo Small Business account. I would like to change the images in Picture Perfect, but I can't see how to do this. I've already manually downloaded the files to my desktop, but Yahoo doesn't give me an option to manually upload anything. I have access to the PHP files to edit, but I can't find the CSS style to change the images. Please help!

Thanks Wayne! This is a really awesome theme!

*Edit: Nevermind! I found it! Thanks!!!
