Changing the number of images

Hello,
Fantastic theme! How do I reduce the number of blades or images from 7 to 6? Or if needed, how would I add more?

1. You remove (or add) one of the li lines in the header code in the div calle dimage menu.
2. You adjust the openWidth parameter in the javascript just below that in the header.
3. You may also want to change the closed widths in the imagemenu.CSS file.

in the section that begins #imageMenu ul li a {
width:133px is the width of the picture when closed.

So if I took out one image and had only 6 images it would leave a part of the black bar sticking out. What should I change the width to if I only want 6 images? Please help, I'm new to this header. I really like it and have it all set up except for the 6 images. I have to keep 7 on so it looks right. I just need to know what I should re size it to so it looks right with 6 images.

I guess it would be 133 times 7 divided by 6.

I only have 5 images. So I open imagemenu.css and remove (so still keeping border-right-style: none; but under bk5 this time):

#imageMenu ul li.bk6 a {
background: url(images/6.jpg) repeat scroll 0%;
}


#imageMenu ul li.bk7 a {
background: url(images/7.jpg) repeat scroll 0%;
}


I go to change to the width under #imageMenu ul li a { from 133px to 186.2 (133x7 divided by 5). I only want to use 5 images.

After doing this all I am left with is 5 empty squares

i have not tried removing images but i managed to add images. i assume the mechanic should be very similar. i also didn't like the image size so i changed to 3:2 and a bit smaller 280px * 187px instead of 320px x 200px. the two files that i modified were:

- header.php: added <li class="bk8">. window.addEvent changed openWidth:280 to match the width of the image.
- imageMenu.css: changed a few things there: 1) removed padding in imageMenu to get even more screen real estate back. changed width to 955px. i noticed the previous numbers didn't really show the whole width of the picture. 2) imageMuen ul - change height to 187px to match the image height 3) imageMuen ul li a - change width to 115px, height to 187 px. 4) added imageMenu ul li.bk8 a

how did i come up 955 and 115? here are the formulas:

a = (a (+-) b)(a 2(-+) ab + c 2)
b = ( -b (+-)sqrt(b 2 - 4ac) ) / 2a

Has anyone found the solution to using only 5 images?

I've done what you said but what I get is the images run onto the next line.

I removed the
#imageMenu ul li.bk# a from 6 & 7 but it still show up. Why is that?

In sliding-door/functions.php
line 61, you must replace number 7 by real number of image you want (here 5)

replace
