Hello Wayne !
I received a message that I am using an old version 1.8.7 and I have to upgrade to the new version 2.6

If I like my actual version ...Am I in the obligation to upgrade my sliding door theme absolutely ? and What happens if I stay with my old version ? Should any errors happens with the old version ?
Many thanks !

You can stay with old version!

All new version does is make it easier to setup but if you've already set it up, may as well leave it as 1.8.7 or whatever you have.

Hi there,

I just downloaded your new theme and installed it, but the pictures don't slide like they did when I previewed the theme.

Is there something I'm supposed to do to make it work? I've tried in both Firefox and Chrome (not at all in IE).

Thanks for your help.

Have you read the fourth post in this thread? If you follow those instructions your images will slide. The only thing I would add is that you make at least seven pages (or however many sliders) before you go to "Appearance" "Menu"

I like the theme. I have never used it before.

Only problem I have is that it renders dramatically different in chrome, ie8, and firefox . see: http://wp.bonsteel.net

I dont really want to proceed if I am going to have to write code for each browser. Any thoughts?

I have changed none of your code.

Next day. OK. I went home to document what I was seeing. And there, it works as expected.

Here (below) is what I see with IE (What I expect)

and Chrome ( Menu is vertical?, footer appears on the left side?. the titles are automatically in the slider boxes!!!(desirable!!!!) ???? )
Chrome 'about' says "11.0.696.60 unknown" .

Now an hour or so later. Nothing changed. Chrome works the same as IE and Firefox. WTF.

Hi, Wayne,
Very very new user here, new to Wordpress and your gorgeous theme but haven't managed to change the slider images yet, get the fact that they don't have to link to any page, which I prefer I think, just want to give examples of my art up there, but just can't find where I can replace your images with mine? Get the resizing thing, so that's ok. Also, how do I add a multi image gallery - can I have rows of thumbnails that open up when clicked on? I'll donate just as soon as my site is done!! I really hope it will show as it is meant to, in all browsers... :?

You have the same problem I had when I put my RSS feeds in the left hand sidebar, I got round it by putting the feeds in the right hand sidebar using the widgets section of the admin page.

The long box on your left hand side bar shouldn't cause the same problem if you move it to the right hand side
