How to fix fatal error with wordpress 4.4

1. Log into your admin screen (yoursitename.com/wp-login.php) and go to themes and upgrade the sliding door theme to the latest version (3.2.2 at least).

Thats it!

If you can't log in to your admin screen (I have heard of one person who said they could not - I'm not sure if they were doing something wrong!) you may need to 'ftp' into your wordperss server.

- access your site by Filezilla or other ftp program
- go to wp-content/themes and delete the 'slidingdoor' folder.
- log into wordpress admin and re-install the sliding door theme.

Actually if you are still having problems after upgrading try this:

go into wordpress admin,
appearance
themes
activate a different theme
select the sliding door theme
delete the sliding door theme
re-install the sliding door theme
activate the sliding door theme

that seems to fix it!

Hi,
I'm getting this

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare get_the_post_thumbnail_url() (previously declared in /home/vhosting/c/vhost0054985/domains/sanjafranic.com/htdocs/www/wp-includes/post-thumbnail-template.php:190) in /home/vhosting/c/vhost0054985/domains/sanjafranic.com/htdocs/www/wp-content/themes/sliding-door/functions.php on line 217

and I can't login to my admin screen either (same error).

Could you please help?

Thanks,
Sanja

Upgrade to the latest version of WordPress and the latest version of sliding door and the problem is all fixed.
If you can't get into your admin screen, FTP into the site and delete the sliding door theme directory, then you can reinstall the sliding door theme.
