Yes this is a simple problem – it only works with Joomla 1.5 or later. So if you want to use the Wheat template you’ll have to upgrade to the latest version of Joomla.
Sorry for that! I am in the process of setting up our website using the wheat theme, which by the way, is great! But I have run into a wall. Everytime I click on a link that I set up, I get the message:
Not Found
The requested URL /tebtebba&catid=8:about-us was not found on this server. Apache/1.3.34 Server at http://www.tebtebba.org Port 80
Do you have any idea on how to resolve this? I made the site search engine friendly.
Thanks!
REPLY: SEO friendly – I’m not sure if that works properly yet, have a look on the Joomla forums. I’d turn SEO friendly off.
Hello!
I can not install wheat_template.zip. (I use Joomla 1.0.12 and the error message is: “ERROR: Could not find an XML setup file in the package.”)
If you would have any ideas I appreciate it.
Beatrix

What is the module at the top of the home page? (The one saying nature, people, urban etc) Can it provide link functionality or is it just a bauble?
THanks
Have a look at this demo page, it actually provides links to wherever you want it to link to eg categories or pages.
I had the same problem on 1.5 stable.
Dig deep into the zip – there is another wheat.zip file. That’s the file to upload and install.
How do I make this theme fixed width? It’s too long for Firefox on Ubuntu and we want a fixed width theme.
And how can I close the gap between the banner and the top?
ANSWER: If you post this question to the support forum it might get answered there.

Thanks for the response! I will turn SEO off and keep my fingers crossed. Otherwise, I will have to restart again!
It would be nice if someone would make a version for joomla! 1.0.X.X version
